  • Statements include all Invoices billed to the account. A Statement, instead of individual Invoices, is sent to save on cost of the supplies needed (paper, printer ink, envelopes, stamps, etc.).
  • Statements are sent at the beginning of each Quarter (January, April, July, October).
  • The first Statement of the year includes both the Annual Assessment and the First Quarter Assessment.



  • Annual Assessment
    • The Annual Assessment covers the operating expenses like electricity and telephone and pays for the cost of maintaining our assets like the roads, entry/exit gates, buildings, etc.
    • Billed Annually every January.
    • Due no later than January 31.
    • The annual assessment is $355.00 (vacant lots are assessed 1/2 half that rate per lot.)
  • Quarterly Assessment
    • This is the Security Assessment, which pays for the 24/7 guards on duty at the entry station.
    • Billed Quarterly (First of January, April, July, and October).
    • Due no later than 90 days after the Statement date. Most of your statements state 60 days but you do have 90 days to pay your Quarterly Assessment before a $25.00 Late Fee is charged.
    • This can be paid in full once a quarter or in thirds monthly so long as the full amount is paid before the end of the quarter.
    • The monthly assessment is $50.00 per month, billed quarterly at $150.00 per quarter.  (vacant lots are assessed 1/2 that rate per lot)

A Vacant Lot is subject to full assessment fees once a new home slab is poured.


  • A Late Fee of $25 will be charged on all Assessments not paid in full.
  • Annual Assessment
    • If payment, in full, is not received by Jan. 31, a Late Fee of $25 will be charged on February 1.
  • Quarterly Assessment
    • If payment, in full, is not received within 90 days of the Statement date, a Late Fee will be charged.
  • The Association charges $30 for all Returned Checks.
  • The Association charges $100 for a Re-Sale Certificate request from a Realtor if you are selling your home.
  • The Association charges $50 for a Transfer Fee upon the sale of your home.


  • If you are delinquent on your account, payment plans are available. Please contact your President or Treasurer if you would like to set up a payment plan.
  • Collections on delinquent accounts will begin when the balance due reaches $500+.


  • All Scenic Oaks payments for Annual and Quarterly assessments should be left with the Entry Officers or the payment may be mailed to:  SOPOA, 27000 Hazy Hollow Dr., San Antonio, TX 78255-3501



We are now set up to allow residents to make online payments with a CC/EFT or ACH. Please use the link below to access the website. All new users will need to setup an account. Once that is complete you can set up how you want to make payments.

All fees associated with making payments will be incurred by the property owner and will vary per payment type. No one associated with the HOA or Dues Payment will see the full account number you provide.

There is a pay-by-phone option. You will be charged an additional $9.95 with the fee above and will be dealing with Dues Payment and not me. I don't recommend using this option.

Please note that you should make your payment in plenty of time for it to be processed and cleared. Only payments that are Cleared will be applied to your balance. Example: Payments for Q2 made on June 30 will not clear by the end of the day. Those would be considered late as they will clear on July 1 or after. You will be assessed a Late Fee.

I apologize in advance but you will not be able to check your balance online. This is not an option that is currently available. If you need to know your balance you will still need to contact me for that information via phone or email @

Lastly, you always have the option to drop off a check with the guard at the Entry Station, mail in the check, or use your own bank's bill-pay option. Many residents asked to have the credit card option made available and this is the best option found where Scenic Oaks does not incur any fees or upfront payments.
