Permits and Forms for Scenic Oaks Residents

Access all necessary permits and forms for Scenic Oaks, including vehicle decals, hang tags, tree trimming, and home improvement projects. Submit completed forms with fees as required. Contact the Architectural Review Committee for guidance or questions.

Scenic Oaks Entry Guidelines

Vehicle Registration Tag

Windshield decals and hang tags are available for residents, family members, and frequent guests at a cost of $5.00 each, with replacements also priced at $5.00. To obtain these, complete the Decal Form or Hang Tag Request and submit it with the fee to the Entry Station. Please note that hang tags are subject to availability.

Tree Trimming Permit

Permits are required for all oak tree trimming in Scenic Oaks. Please see the Tree Trimming page for more information.

Construction Permit

New Construction and Home Improvements including; additions, pools, garages, carports, fences, driveways, septics, sidewalks, patios, mailboxes, solar panels, water reclamation tanks, etc. 

Note: Interior home improvements cannot reduce the size of your garage. All garages must hold two vehicles and be at least 480 square feet. If a garage is converted to living space, it must be replaced with a separate two car garage.

INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT

Parent-Indemnitor(s) agree to indemnify and hold harmless SOPOA and its representatives from any claims, damages, or liabilities—including legal fees—arising from the use of unlicensed vehicles in Scenic Oaks, even if caused by SOPOA’s negligence. Indemnitors also agree to follow all SOPOA rules, assume all risks, and not pursue legal action for any resulting injury, damage, or death.
